from 2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman
that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
AWANA is a ministry for children ages 3

Nursery
What Bethel's Nursery has to offer:
- Bethel has a wonderful nursery staffed with
trained volunteers.
- You are welcome to leave your children for both
Adult Bible Fellowship Hour and the Church Service.
- The nursery is separated into two sections - one
for babies and one for toddlers.
- There is a one-way window in both sections so you
can peak in and see how your little one is doing and your child will
not be able to see you.
- The toddler section has tons of toys, plus a
TV/VCR for VeggieTales and other videos.
- The toddler section also has crackers or cookies,
juice, sippy cups, and its own bathroom!
- The baby section is stocked with toys, baby
swings, diapers, wipes, a changing table and a sink for washing hands.
Please bring a diaper or two just in case the nursery does not have the
right sized diaper needed for your child.
- The baby section also contains two small private
rooms with cribs and rocking chairs in each where mothers may nurse or
feed their child, or where the parent or staff may lay children down
to nap. Each room has a lock.
- There are cubbies available to place your diaper
bag or child's favorite toy. The cubbies have a number system and are
assigned to you so no one will take your things, and staff members can
find that favorite toy or blanket to comfort your child if
needed. But please be aware that by bringing in these things you
may be bringing germs home!
- You may also check out a pager so the staff can
contact you if your child needs you.
- Experience the RELAXATION of having an hour or
two away from your children knowing they are being well taken care of!
- YES - we do disinfect the toys!
- Please be sure to enter the middle doors of the
Nursery section to drop off your children (not the individual
rooms). You will be asked to write down the name of each child
on a sheet, along with some other information, as well as write a
nametag.
- There are two places in the church to
change a diaper – in the nursery on the upper floor and in the
Family Bathroom located next to the 2 year old Sunday School (look for
the green flag) in the basement.
