In 1930 Hamilton has become so popular the industry leaders of Aviation TWA, Eastern and United make hamilton watches the official watch company of the airline. In 1940 as America prepares for war Hamilton is asked to stop production of regular watches in order to make close to one million watches for the US Military. One of these the famous Hack design remains a major influence on the Khaki line today. In 1957 Hamilton comes out with the first electric watch called the Ventura. This watch was worn by famous people of the time like Elvis Presley. It brought the company to the forefront of watch making. In 1966 this company continues to show its relationship with Hollywood by producing the futuristic watch for 2001 a Space Odyssey by Stanley Kubrick. Once again in 1972 Hamilton amazes the world by coming out with a totally new type of watch. The first digital watch is born. In the 80's Hamilton introduces many classic watch designs which become the look for the 80's. In the 90's the Khaki line emerges once again with the new Khaki action watch. In 1999 Hamilton combines classic lines and modern and introduces the Everest line. 2003 Bring new designs to the Khaki line a new Hack Khaki watch is available along with several new models. In 2004 the new Khaki Hamilton Navy Gmt is introduced. Which is one sweet watch. Hamilton has a long History as a watch brand and it continues to be a leader in the industry.
